Just how marvelous can our God be? I sometimes wonder about Him, asking myself several questions. All these He answers by telling me that He is the all-powerful God, omnipotent. He is always with me, omnipresent. He is an all-knowing God, omniscient.
God created me the way I am and that is something I always thank him for. My inner beauties as well as my outer beauty all represent the creation of God. We are all created in His own image.
How many times have we forgotten to thank God for creating us just the way we are? For the people with every single part of the body that is two eyes that see well, two ears that hear everything, two hands that touch well and do other chores, two feet that walk, a heart that beats each second, a nose that smells, a tongue that helps in our speech, a head with hair and inside it a brain that functions properly…the list is endless.
We may never know the importance of all these till we are without just a single one of them. Talk to someone who cannot see and you will know how to appreciate God for your eyes that see. I recently watched on television a program with some of the people with disabilities. I heard them appreciate God with their whole heart for the several things they can do. Some without hands could wash, write, make their beds and polish their shoes using their feet. They do it so well, even better than the person with two hands.
Just what makes us to be ungrateful to God for what we have?
It is a high time we reflect on Psalm 139:13-16.
God knew David before He was carefully kept in His mother’s womb. This means God knew us before we were born too. Whether you have every part of your body functioning well or not, remember God is the one who created you.
Take time and appreciate Him for creating you the way you are!!!
