Who are you?

Who are you? This is a common question in today’s interviews.
There are many people in the world today whose names shall forever go down in memory lane. They will be remembered for who they were. They left a lasting legacy. They probably did something extraordinary.
When we come across a famous actor, we always say this is the starring in such and such a movie. If it’s a famous musician, we say he or she sang such and such a friend. Whether it is our neighbor, there is something we always associate him or her with. It could be the neighbor who always comes home late and hoots real loud waking up all the neighbors or the one who leaves early in the morning and arrives late at night thus you rarely see each other.
Whatever the case, you and I have something that people identify us with. In Mark 8:28, Jesus asked His disciples: “Who do people say I am?” Some thought He was Elijah the prophet or He was just another prophet. In verse 29, those who knew Him said He was Christ. That was the label for the Savior of the world.
What are you called by the people who know you best? Are you so and so the follower of Christ?
It all depends on how you talk to people, your actions, and basically the way you live.
Those closest to Jesus knew He was Christ the Savior, do those closest to us know that we belong to Him?
