Never Alone!!!

One of the greatest hits I really love is Barlow Girl’s ‘Never Alone’. Many are the times things happen to me as I walk this earth I wonder if there is anyone else or am just alone. In our lives, things do happen that make us really believe that we are all alone. We may go through staff that makes us feel lonely. Just like the song Never Alone, God always promises us that He is always there with us but sometimes when we want Him the most we feel like He is no where near us. The truth is that God is always with us. WE ARE NEVER ALONE!!! Remember He is the Omnipresent God, always present no matter where you are or what you are going through.

Loneliness has been termed as one of the most desolate words in the English language. It is no respecter of age, gender, race, economic status or intelligence. Albert Einstein said: “It is strange to be known so universally, and yet to be so lonely”. We have heard and read about famous people in the world, most celebrities. They are known all over the world yet they usually die of suicide cases. They live all alone yet do things that marvel the entire world with their deeds.

God, from the beginning, did not intend for us to be lonely. That is why he saw it fit for man to have a companion (Genesis 2:18). Many are the times we feel so empty inside. Even Jesus knew loneliness. His disciples deserted Him (Mark 14:50). Jesus however declared that the Father was with Him (John 16:32).

If we put our trust in the Lord and His word, then we can never be alone. We can lessen our feeling of loneliness by reaching out to others. Most importantly, we can reach out to God. He is always with us and He wants us to fellowship with Him throughout the day.
