It originated from the disobedience of Adam and Eve, the first human beings to be created. If only they had not disobeyed God, sin would not be in existence. As a result of their disobedience, we have to live with the consequences. Sin is a deadly disease whose only cure is the cross.
It only adds to our trouble, subtracts from our energy and multiply our difficulties. When God saves us, our sins are forgiven and forgotten for good. God’s grace shines brightest where sin is the darkest. The power of Christ around us is greater than the power of sin around us.
No sin is so secret that it is beyond God’s forgiveness. A little sin never stays little. It will only grow bigger and bigger. Confessing our sins to God always brings cleansing from Him. Confess today and He will be just enough to forgive to you and make you His own.
Always remember that Christ died for our sins so as to deliver us from those very sins.
